The 2019 Ghost Walk begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. in the Marshall County Museum at 123 North Michigan Street on Saturday, October 26th. The Ghost Walk highlights the lives and untimely deaths of Marshall County people.
Led by trained guides through the dimly lit hallways, guests will visit three floors of the museum. Expect encounters with spooks, spirits, and strange noises. Interpreters assuming the persona of various Marshall County residents will tell their stories, revealing the development of our community. These stories will be told through the characters of pioneer John Houghton (The Very Rev. John Houghton), entertainer Baptiste Goldkette (Tom Boys), and nurse Lora Burden (Teressa Welborn).
Discover secret stairs and hidden passageways of the museum. Hear the chilling stories of those who died too soon from farmer Fred Fesser (Sam Erwin) to newlywed Emma Bowles (Cyndi Dietrich). Hear the tragic accounts of lives cut short by unnatural causes. Other characters include Gilbert Eakins (Dennis Bottorff), Daniel McDonald (Mark Senter), Milo Johnson (Brent Martin), Jeremiah Horan (Monty Peden), James Heminger (Tom Buchanan), Peter Lichtenbarger (Don Balka), Faye Albert (Marilyn Gochenour), Daniel Day (Sean Surisi) and Louberta Meredith (Brenda Anderson).
