Marshall County Sheriff, Matthew Hassel, is inviting the Marshall County Community to attend an Open House at the Sheriff’s Department. The Open House is a great way for the department to connect with the community and showcase all the work the Sheriff’s Department does. Sheriff Hassel has extended a special invitation to anyone 18 years of age or older who is thinking about pursuing a career in public safety to learn more about what is available at the Sheriff’s Department.
The event starts with a presentation explaining what the Sheriff’s Department does and then there will be a tour the facilities. You must be 18 years of age or older to tour the jail. There will also be a firearms safety class with an Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board Certified Firearms Instructor.
The whole thing takes place this Sunday, June 2nd at 2:00pm at the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department 1400 Pioneer Drive in Plymouth.
