The Marshall County Highway Department will be replacing a culvert at the intersection of 5B and King Roads on Tuesday, May 28 about 9:00 a.m. The project is expected to take two days.
King Road will be closed from 4B to 5B Roads on May 28 and 29. 5B Road will be open at the intersection to travel west on the south side and all traffic from the north will need to use 4B Road for the detour.
County Highway Superintendent Jason Peters said, “Please try to avoid this area as much as possible because the repair project will not permit any traffic to pass through.”
The Highway Department anticipates having this section of road opened by the end of the day on Wednesday, May 29.
