Webster Elementary kindergarten teachers Ashley Nan, Anna Cover and Cheryl Splix invited two students from each of their classes to present to the Plymouth School Board on Wednesday, May 15.
Students Maisy Scott, Luke Berry, Charley Krumrie, Kellie Mondy, Lydia Cooper, and Jacob Gordon demonstrated their reading abilities by reading a book together. They were also able to pick out words to put together sentences that their teachers spoke.
Each of the students introduced themselves using a complete sentence.
Webster Principal Carrie McGuire said they adopted a new kindergarten reading program this year.
