A bank stabilization plan was approved by the Marshall County Drainage Board Monday morning.
A high intensity AEP, 4-legged transmission tower in the 1800 block of Jarrah Road was constructed years ago, too closed to the Stepheny Forsythe stream. Flowing water has caused one of the four tower foundations to be exposed at least 6 feet down.
The variance to work in the county’s easement will allow rip-rap to be placed up and down the stream bank on both sides of the tower foundation for several hundred feet
