Courtside MinistriesAnyone entering or leaving the Marshall County Court House on Monday, March 19th in the morning may have seen a group offering prayer and bibles.

Courtside Ministries from Valparaiso sent a letter to the commissioners telling of their intentions to set up a small table once a week at the County Court House to offer prayer ministry to the people who flow in and out of the courts on a daily basis.

Courtside Ministries is a national non-denominational Christian membership association of lawyers, judges, law professors, law students, and other associates.

Courtside Ministries will be at the Marshall County Court House one morning a week with a prayer table manned by a limited amount of volunteers from 8:30 until noon.  They will offer prayer to those coming and going along with bibles and other literature, all of which is free.

For 9 years Courtside Ministries’ volunteers have offered prayer to people entering and leaving 84 courthouses in Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, California, Arizona, Ohio, Minnesota, Montana, Florida, Wisconsin, Oklahoma and North Carolina.  In Indiana the ministry has been praying outside 17 courthouses since 2012.
