MCCO Ruth Counts march 2018Rehearsals are now underway for the 2018 concert season of the Marshall County Church Orchestra.  The orchestra, under the direction of conductor Donald Harness is welcoming new members at all times.

The MCCO has been performing in the area for approximately 15 years and accepts musicians of varying ages and skill levels.  The most recent member to join is Argos 7th grader Ruth Counts who plays trombone.

The orchestra is in need of low brass players but will gladly receive members in the string, woodwinds, brass, and percussion sections.  Whether you are a student in the high school band or an adult who hasn’t played for a while you are urged to call Harness at 574-936-7357.  The MCCO does have some “loaner” instruments for those who would like to give the orchestra a try before investing money in an instrument.

The Marshall county church Orchestra’s first concert of the season will be a 7:00 p.m. Patriotic concert on May 24th at New Song Church located at 1292 Baker Street, Plymouth.
