33 year old Stephanie Stewart of Elkhart was pulled over for a traffic violation Saturday morning at 11 near the intersection of US 30 and Oak Drive.
While Plymouth Police Officer Ben McIntyre was checking her driving status, he learned she had an active warrant through LaPorte County for Check Deception. Ms. Stewart also advised that there was marijuana in her car.
She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County jail where she was booked for Possession of Marijuana under 30grams with a hold for the LaPorte County warrant.
