Officer Jordan Rans with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department investigated a single vehicle crash Saturday morning at 8:30 on Veteran’s Parkway.
According to his report the driver, 19 year old Donna Moyotl-Cuatlacuatl of Plymouth as traveling west on Veteran’s Parkway, east of Michigan Road, when she ran off of the roadway in a 2008 Jeep Liberty for unknown reasons. Once off of the roadway, the vehicle continued traveling west for approximately 75 yards in a ditch before it struck a drainage culvert. After striking the drainage culvert the vehicle went airborne and rolled over onto its top.
Moyotl-Cuatlacuatl was transported to Memorial Hospital in South Bend via helicopter for possible head and leg injuries.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by the Plymouth Police Department, Indiana State Police, Plymouth Fire and EMS, and Lyon’s Wrecker Service.
