Bourbon-downtownThe Bourbon Town Council believes they could get as many as ten to twelve street paved and several feet of sidewalk repaired or built as a part of the Community Crossings Grant that was awarded to Bourbon. They received a $400,000 grant to transportation work last year.

The Council awarded a bid to Niblock Excavating of Bristol to perform the work at a cost of $294,600. Street Department Superintendent, Roger Terry, said it is a huge undertaking.
