On Monday, February 12, at approximately 2:30 in the morning, Sergeant Les McFarland with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department made a traffic stop on Joshua Rudd, age 23, in the area of Michigan Road and US 6 for exceeding the posted speed limit and having expired plates. 

During the traffic stop, it was believed that Mr. Rudd was intoxicated.  He was transported to the hospital for a chemical test and then arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated and Operating While Intoxicated, prior offense. 

The bond for Joshua Rudd was set at $1,500.  A case report will be completed and forwarded to the Marshall County Prosecutor`s Office for review and formal criminal charges being completed.
