Mandy Campbell

Mandy Campbell from Argos will challenge Bill Githens for the District II County Council seat in the May Republican Primary.

A wife, mom, and stepmom, Mandy is married to Brian Campbell a lifelong resident of Marshall County and a graduate of Argos High School.

Mandy Campbell is a realtor at Re/Max Oak Crest in Plymouth and has been selling real estate in our county for 7 years.

Through Leadership Marshall County, Mandy helped create the Young Professionals Network of Marshall County with two other friends.  She currently serves as President of YPN and loves watching the organization grow.

Mandy Campbell is a Rotary Club member and a parent volunteer with the local 4H club in which her daughter and stepsons are active members.

When asked why she wanted to try her hand a politics Mandy said, “I have become active in our community and would like to get more involved in the county.”  She continued, “It’s time for young people to help change the face of Marshall County. We need to work at attracting housing projects plus helping economic development with ideas of attracting a work force to help our industries. The county needs to be the leader in helping solve this problem. I have a network of young professionals that could be of assistance as the future generations come along.”

Candidates have only until noon on Friday to declare their candidacy.

Some of the others who have recently filed include Jack Roose for County Council District 3 and Richard Erickson II from Walkerton for County Commissioner District 1 on the Democrat ticket.
