Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD), in partnership with St. Joseph and Starke County SWCDs, is hosting a FREE Healthy Soils Workshop from 9:00 – 2:00 on Thursday, February 15th at Christo’s Banquet Center in Plymouth.
Barry Fisher, USDA-NRCS, will be speaking on cover crops and soil health, Bill Johnson, Purdue University will cover new Dicamba regulations and Shalamar Armstrong, Purdue University, will cover nutrient cycling. PARP and CCH credits are available, as well as credits for Certified Crop Advisors for Soil and Water and Nutrient Management.
