The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for areas of northern Indiana including Marshall County, which goes into effect beginning late Thursday night February 8th through Friday evening February 9th.
Heavy snow is expected for Friday with new snow accumulations of 5 to 9 inches possible.
This Winter Storm Watch covers Starke, Marshall and Kosciusko Counties.
Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning and afternoon commutes. Be prepared for reduced visibility at times. Plan on difficult travel conditions, including during the morning and afternoon commutes on Friday. Significant reductions in visibility are possible.
