Girl Scouts of Northern Indiana-Michiana received funding to help provide financial assistance to girls in grades k-12 in Marshall County so they can experience the Girl Scout Leadership Experience (GSLE). GSLE provides girl-led, girl-centered programs & activities that expand girls’ leadership abilities.
Marshall County Council on Aging, Inc.received funding to assist with the matching dollars for wheelchair equipped vehicles. Marshall County Council on Aging, Inc. provides transportation to the disabled and general public, information and referral to seniors and general public regarding services for seniors, disabled and their families.
Marshall County 4-H Dog Club received funding to help replace old agility equipment used for 4-H training. The 4-H Dog Club provides 4-H members a fun and hands-on learning experience that develops life skills. Members are also taught valuable information on how to properly care for animals.
The Operation Round Up program allows Marshall County REMC members to reach out to worthy causes in their community and work together to help others.
