Lady Red Storm over Wawasee
PLYMOUTH – The grade basketball “A” team opened their 2018 season against conference foe Wawasee with a 32-19 victory.
Sara Hunter had seven steals, Lexi Rose added five while Clare Sheedy and Leah Tanner had two steals apiece. Top scorers were Hunter with 10 points while Rose, Sheedy, Keiara Himes and Summer South added four points each. Lauren Rumpler, Hannah Friberg, Sydney Rice and Tanner all got into the scoring column.
Top rebounder was Rice with three.
The girls will return to action on Monday in a non-conference matchup against New Prairie. Game time is approximately 6:30 p.m.
