Plymouth girls qualify for NLC finals
PLYMOUTH – The Plymouth girls swim team qualified several swimmers to compete in the NLC meet finals.
Individuals qualifying to compete at NLC finals Saturday are Ava LoMagro-12th in 200 & 500 free, Graci Holm-12th in the Individual Medley and 7th in the backstroke (her best time), Rachel Jacobs – 16th in the IM, Leah Smith 14th in the 50 free, Lizzy Bacon 14th in the breaststroke (her best time) and Summer Smith 16th in the breaststroke.
Plymouth freshman Raven Gritton swam her best times in the butterfly (dropping six seconds) and the 500 free (dropping 22 seconds and qualifying for sectionals) while Sophia Smith, also a freshman, dropped six seconds in the breaststroke.
In Relays:
Medley: 5th seed – Holm, Summer Smith, LoMagro, Leah Smith.
200 Free: 7th seed – Bacon, Paige Young, Kate Renneker, Jacobs.
400 Free: 5th seed – L Smith, Jacobs, LoMagro, Holm.
