Miller's_Snowmen and residents jan 2018The Christmas decorations have been taken down and the hallways of Miller’s Assisted Living Facility were looking a little bare.  So, under the leadership of Activity Director Cindy Flagg and Volunteer Deb Shock residents spent an afternoon making snowmen that will be used as decorations.

Using socks, rice, buttons, ribbon, pom-poms and a marker the crafters worked together and made 25 snowmen of various sizes to decorate the fireplace mantel in the Main Lobby.  Although they are all made the same, the snowmen all seem to have different personalities by the way they smile or wear their hats!  The snowmen will be on display through the month of January.  The public is invited to stop in and take a look.  At the end of the month the snowmen will go home with the resident that made them.
