BZA_AutoParkSign1-2-18The Auto Park on West Jefferson Street in Plymouth was granted a variance of development standards Tuesday night during the Plymouth Board of Zoning Appeals meeting.

Planning Consultant Ralph Booker said Norfalk Properties wanted to change their existing pole sign from the maximum height of 20 feet to 26 ½ feet and increase the square footage of the sign from the permitted 75 feet to a total of 96 feet.

In other business the Plymouth BZA voted to retain the same officers for 2018.  Mark Gildey will continue a President while Jim Sherwood will be Vice President and Allen Selge will be the Secretary.

The Board of Zoning Appeals also approved keeping their meetings at 7:30 on the 1st Tuesday of each month.  Meetings will continue to be held in the conference room of the Plymouth Fire Department until the renovations of City Hall are complete.
