Centennial Park_front gateThe Plymouth Park Board conducted their first meeting of 2018, Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. in the Conservation Club House. Members reorganized with the election of officers and motioned to retain the same officer: Dave Morrow as President, Mike Kershner for Vice President and Laura Mann as Secretary.

The city park board also approved continuing the contract with Jane Fuentes to provide FREE exercise classes at the Webster Recreation Center.  The park will pay her a one-time fee of $250 which covers her cost to be a certified instructor.     They also approved a new contract with Jody Brown to provide FREE exercise classes in 2018 at the Webster Rec. Center.  There is no compensation in the agreement with Ms. Brown.

City park employee and City arborist, Cameron Arnold was granted approval to attend the Indiana State Arborist convention.  The park will cover the convention cost and Arnold’s membership as a State Arborist at $350.  They will also have to pay for his hotel and meals, which Superintendent Mike Hite said would be paid through the non-reverting budget.

The park board also approved the transfer of board member Robert Listenberger from Arts & Entertainment to the Blueberry Festival and Laura Mann from Blueberry Festival to Arts & Entertainment.
