Arrested_handcuffA 20 year old Plymouth man was arrested on Saturday, December 30th following a traffic stop at North Michigan Street and Hoham Drive. 

Just before 6 a.m. Saturday, Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation.  A passenger in the vehicle, Kenneth J. McIntire Jr. was found to be a minor that had consumed alcohol. 

McIntire also had two outstanding warrants through Marshall County for Failure to Appear.  He was taken into custody and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was held on bonds of $191.00; $517.00; and $505.00.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
