Marshall County Police investigated a hit and run accident on State Road 17 Wednesday evening, December 27th about 6:30.
Deputy Nick Laffoon the investigating officer said the County’s Centralized Dispatch Center received a 911 call of the collision on State Road 17 and 12th Road.
21 year old Hope Fish of Plymouth was traveling south on State Road 17 in a 2000 Dodge Neon. As she slowed to turn onto 12th Road near Lake Latonka the vehicle following her failed to slow down and struck the rear driver’s side of her vehicle.
The small black passenger car fled the scene and was last seen traveling south on State Road 17. The vehicle should have damage to the front passenger’s side.
Hope Fish was injured in the accident although details of her injuries were not reported.
The incident is still under investigation and anyone with information is requested to contact Sgt. Nicholas Laffoon of the Marshall County Police Department. 936-3187
