MugShot_Jacob ShaferA speeding vehicle on US 30 was stopped Sunday morning, December 24th about 4:45 and the driver was arrested for OWI.

County Police Officer Wozniak stopped 25 year old Jacob Holladay Shafer of Evansville on US 30 a Iris Road after he was clocked doing 84 in a 60 MPH speed zone.

During the investigation it was suspected Mr. Shafer was intoxicated.  A blood alcohol test showed him to be three times the legal limit with a BAC of .15% or more.

Jacob Shafer was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicated Engendering a Person and Operating A Vehicle with a BAC of .15% or More and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
