ArrestedOn Friday, December 15th, about 9:30 p.m. Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper pulled 18 year old Nathan Shireman of Plymouth over for driving with no headlights when required.

During the traffic stop, Shireman was found to be Operating a vehicle While Intoxicated on a Controlled Substance.

One of Shireman’s passengers, 19 year old Cole Shepperd also of Plymouth was found to be in Possession of Marijuana.

Both subjects were transported to the Marshall County Jail.  Nathan Shireman was charged with Operating on a Controlled Substance and held on a $1,500 cash bond.  Cole Shepperd was booked in for Possession of Marijuana and held on a $750 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
