Children from the House of Prayer Church under the direction of Nikki Bicknell presented their Christmas musical at Miller’s Assisted Living on Wednesday evening, December 13th. Nine young people of varying ages presented THE POWER OF THE KING which told the story of the birth of Christ using a big-city radio station theme as its backdrop.
Choir Director Emily Haner directed the youth in the fun, fast-paced contemporary songs as well as traditional hymns about the birth of Jesus. Rob Bicknell was in charge of technical issues.
Upon conclusion of the musical, the youth took time to pray and visit with the residents who had gathered in lobby to watch the Christmas musical.
