Habitat for Humanity logoThe Town of Culver and Marshall County Habitat for Humanity are pleased to announce the availability of a building site for a qualifying Habitat for Humanity family or individual in 2018.  The new site will be located within the Town of Culver, at the site of the new Sand Hill Farms housing development located off Jefferson Street.

Interested persons should contact the Marshall County Habitat for Humanity office at (574) 935-4214 to determine eligibility to participate in the program.  Program applications and qualification information are available on the Town of Culver (www.townofculver.org) and Marshall County Habitat for Humanity (www.habitatomc.org) websites.

The building site is anticipated to be available for construction in fall 2018 for any resident who qualifies for construction through Habitat for Humanity, which can sometimes be a one or two-year process to meet financing and volunteer hour requirements.  According to Jonathan Leist, Town Manager, “We wanted to get the word out about the availability of this site now, so that hopefully once the site is ready, we will have a qualifying family or individual very quickly.  We are thrilled about this opportunity to partner with Marshall County Habitat for Humanity and to be able to provide a building site to this program through our development agreement at Sand Hill Farms.  I cannot wait to see construction get started!”
