Pilgrim Manor signBy the US News & World Report, Pilgrim Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Plymouth is ranked #4 in the entire state of Indiana.  Indiana has 542 nursing homes in Indiana and Laurie Smith Administrator at Pilgrim Manor said, “It is a great privilege to be ranked 4th in the state.”

The US News rankings are heavily based on the Quality Measures of each nursing home on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best and that is where Pilgrim Manor’s quality measures rank.  Quality Measures consider items like pressure sores, pain management, falls, restraints, psychotropic medications, urinary tract infections, catheter usage, weight loss and hospital readmission rates.

Pilgrim Manor credits this quality of care ranking to all the men and women that work every day to provide the best care possible to the residents.  Smith said, “It takes special caring individuals to work in a nursing home and Pilgrim Manor is proud to have those caring individuals working for them.”
