A hit-and-run accident on Tuesday, October 24th resulted in the arrest of two people.

About 3 p.m. Tuesday afternoon Plymouth Police were dispatched to the area of Oak and Markley Drive for a vehicle fleeing from an accident.

Plymouth Police Officer Krynock located the suspected vehicle which was being drive by 26 year old Arthur Von Witt of Plymouth.

An investigation showed that 22 year old Nakeisha Sharron Phillips of South Bend was the driver at the time of the accident and Witt changes places with her before being stopped.

Arthur Witt was found to have never obtained a driver’s license.

Both subjects were transported to the MCJ.

Witt was lodged on a $1,500 cash bond and given a court date of November 21.

Phillips was lodged on a $500 cash bond and given a court date of November 21, 2017.
