The position was vacated when former advisory board member Jerry Lamb was caucused into the trustee position on September 7th.  Lamb was selected for the position after former Trustee Lynn Stull dies unexpectedly August 20th.

Holmes had 5 applications for the position but Thursday night only four of the candidates spoke.  After hearing from each candidate the Polk Township precinct committeeperson, Pam McMahon selected John Einhorn to fill the vacancy on the advisory board.

During his speech, Einhorn said he’s a 32 year resident of Polk Township and has 31 years on the Polk Township Fire Department, currently serving as Assistant Chief.  He will hold the advisory board seat until December 31, 2018.
