Local communities will receive state matching grants to improve roads and bridges, according to State Rep. Jack Jordan (R-Bremen).
More than $150 million was awarded to Indiana cities, towns and counties through the Community Crossings grant program, which is now in its second year. The grants are available through the Indiana Department of Transportation.
“These grants will help drive economic growth while also making travel more efficient for Hoosiers on our roadways,” Jordan said. “The dedicated funding has allowed the expansion for this program to continue for years to come.”
Fulton County will receive $515,050 and Marshall County will receive $518,323. In addition, nine communities in Fulton and Marshall counties will be awarded grants:

Projects eligible for funding through Community Crossings include road and bridge preservation, road reconstruction, intersection improvements, small structure replacements, guardrail replacements and signs.
