The Marshall County 911 Dispatch Center received a call Saturday May 13th just after 10 p.m. of an impaired driver headed southbound on US 31 in the area of 12 Road.
An officer with the Marshall County Police Department located the vehicle near US 31 and 13th Road and performed a traffic stop. It was determined that the driver, 45 year old Tara Dietz of South Bend was impaired.
Dietz was lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Operating While Intoxicate Endangering a Person, OWI on a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Driving While Suspended with a prior.
Tara Dietz was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $3,000 cash bond.
