arrested_handcuffsAn employee with Krogers stopped 19 year old Kenneth McIntire Wednesday evening about 5:45 after he exited the first set of doors with an entire cart of merchandise that he had not paid for.  McIntire then concealed two boxes of Nurtigrain Bars under his sweatshirt and ran from the store.

A call to police sent officers north or the grocery looking for the suspect. They located McIntire hiding near the Skylane Apartments eating one of the bars.  He was arrested and lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Theft and an additional charge of Auto Theft.

The vehicle McIntire arrived at the store in was found to be stolen and impounded by police.

McIntire also had two warrants for Failure to Appear.
