MugShot_Troy MangunA Plymouth man was arrested Saturday night after city police were dispatched to 618 West Washington Street for an open 911 call.

Just before 11 the Marshall County Centralized Dispatch Center received a 911 where the line was open but no one was talking to them.  Officers responded and encountered 28 year old Troy A. Mangun who was intoxicated and in public view.

Mangun resisted officer’s instructions had briefly physical struggle with officers.  He was transported to the Plymouth Hospital, seen by a doctor and then lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Resisting and PI and held on a $1,000 cash bond.


Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
