Plymouth Police Officer Paul Stamper initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle Monday afternoon about 4:15 on the east side of Plymouth.
The vehicle, driven by 32 year old Daniel R. Nifong of Plymouth refused to stop and led police on a slow, short pursuit. Mr. Nifong eventually pulled into his own yard at 1121 Pennsylvania Avenue.
Nifong was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Marshall County Jail where he was booked in for Resisting Law Enforcement and Driving While Suspended and held on a $1,500 cash bond.
