The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a flash-flood-watchFlood Watch for portions of northern Indiana, including Marshall County from late tonight through Friday evening.  Heavy rainfall is expected to develop over the area tonight and persist through Friday. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible.

Rises on rivers are expected with some rivers possibly reaching
moderate or major flood stages.  Lowland areas that have yet to drain from the past heavy rainfall will likely undergo more widespread flooding.

Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Sand and bags are available at the old Marshall County EMA Office located at 9515 King Road, just north of the Marshall County Highway Garage. You will need to bring your own shovel.
