The Plymouth Police Department is warning citizens of another scam.
Several residential areas have been targeted by subjects who claim to be working for a company that is trying to get satellite customers to purchase software for their current dish programming.
Police say the call back number that’s provided showed that it’s not a legitimate upgrade nor are they affiliated with any satellite service.
Plymouth Police warn, “If there are any questions about your satellite service or any upgrade, contact your service directly.”
