Bremen Officers TrainingBremen Police Officers Wes Atkins, John Tice and Troy Ulch attended a 40 hour course on Instructor Development from April 17th through April 21st.  This training was sponsored through the Northeast Indiana Law Enforcement training Center (N.E.I.L.E.T.C.) and was held at the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Department.  This 40 hours course prepares officers to develop and conduct quality training programs.  The learning experience is enhanced through videotaping and peer group assessment.  As a final course requirement, the officers will have to develop, prepare and present a one-hour course of instruction.

The Instructor Development course is a prerequisite for any certified Indiana Law Enforcement Academy instructor training and certification.

Upon successful completion of this Instructor Development course, these officers will join Training Director/Assistant Chief Keith Fraine, and bring valuable and mandated training back to all officers and reserve officers in the Bremen Police Department.
