SOUTH BEND, Indiana (April 14, 2017) – The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand schedule. Highlights include a chance for fans to see up close the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Trophy, which will be at the 1st Source Bank Performance Center on Thursday, April 20. While the game is officially sold out, lawn seats are available for those who still wish to get tickets. Also announced is the addition of “World Champion Wednesday” where each week fans will help celebrate key moments from the 2016 championship series.

All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online at SouthBendCubs.com or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.

Monday, April 17, Great Lakes Loons, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Poster Monday: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a free South Bend Cubs poster
  • Belly Buster Monday: All-you-can-eat hot dogs, peanuts and popcorn with the purchase of an $8 wristband. (Offer must be purchased with game ticket.)

Tuesday, April 18, Great Lakes Loons, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Two-Dollar Tuesdays: This week, fans can enjoy $2 game tickets

Wednesday, April 19, Great Lakes Loons, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday Giveaway: The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Chicago Cubs World Champion Helmet Bank
  • World Champion Wednesday: A weekly celebration of a key moment from the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Championship
  • Silver Slugger Day: Any adult age 60 and older can purchase a ticket for just $6

Thursday, April 20, Dayton Dragons, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at special time: 5 p.m.
  • Lawn seats available
  • Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long
  • World Series Trophy Appearance: The Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Trophy will be on display from 6-8 p.m. Fans will have an opportunity to get their photo taken with the trophy during this time. (Due to its limited availability, not every fan who purchases a ticket will be able to get their picture taken with the trophy. While not everyone in attendance will be able to view the trophy up close, the South Bend Cubs will allow fans to take pictures from the balcony area of the 1st Source Bank Performance Center.)

Friday, April 21, Dayton Dragons, 7:35 p.m.

  • Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Home Run for Life: The South Bend Cubs will honor a patient from Beacon Children’s Hospital who will get to run the bases during the game
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game

Saturday, April 22, Dayton Dragons, 7:05 p.m.

  • Gates open at 5 p.m.
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Safe at Home Child Abuse Prevention: An evening to help raise awareness to prevent child abuse and celebrate all children
  • Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV

Sunday, April 23, Dayton Dragons, 2:05 pm

  • Gates open at noon
  • First 1,000 fans receive a South Bend Cubs fleece blanket
  • Reading Club Day: The South Bend Cubs welcome participants of our Stu and Swoop’s Reading Program to Four Winds Field
  • Sunday Funday: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session

As a reminder, the gates open two hours prior to the first pitch for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday games throughout the season. The 1st Source Bank Performance Center will be open during home games for all ticket holders.
