Plymouth Color Logo2014The Plymouth Police Department will begin the hiring process again.

During Monday night’s Board of Public Works and Safety meeting Chief Dave Bacon asked to begin the hiring process due to the retirement of Detective Stg. Jim Cox.  The chief told board members he’s also  received notice from Stg. Gary Cleveland the he will retire from the department the first of June making the second opening.

The Board of Works and Safety also passed a resolution designating a handgun to be surplus property of the Plymouth Police Department and authorizing its transfer to retiring police officer Jim Cox.
