Triton held their annual fifth grade DARE graduation on April 11th in the school auditorium. Bourbon police officer, Matt Haskins, the teacher of the program, presented each student with a special recognition certificate.
One student from each of the three classrooms was chosen to read their DARE essay about what DARE means to them at the program: They are:(Pictured with Officer Haskins) Gracelynn Hanley (Mrs. Hostrawser’s class), Hannah Snyder (Mrs. Hanby’s class) and Allison Barber (Mrs. Brosman’s class).
Allison Barber was selected as the overall winner and will represent Triton Elementary School at the county DARE banquet.
