Bourbon policeOn Tuesday, April 11th at approximately 8:20 in the evening Officer Adam Kraning of the Bourbon Police Department received a call in reference to a possible impaired driver north bound on State Road 331 just north of U.S. 30.

The officer located a blue Lexus and observed it cross over the center line, resulting in probable cause. Officer Kraning made a traffic stop at State Road 331 and 9B road.

The driver, 32 year old Alen Danovic of Fort Wayne appeared intoxicated.   A drug recognition expert was called to the scene and found him to be under the influence of a narcotic. Mr. Danovic tested positive for Benzodiazepines and was booked into the Marshall County Jail and was given a court date of April 18th with a $1505 cash bond.

He was also found to be driving under a suspended license.
