Attempting to locate a female who was wanted on a warrant through Starke County, on Thursday morning the Drug Task Force ended up arresting 6 individuals.

Marshall County Officer Jonathan Bryant and Detective Rob Olejniczak from the Starke County Sheriff’s Department went to 408 South Plum Street about 11:45 in the morning.  The officers located 51 year old Lola Darlene Fier of Knox was located in the residence and was also wanted through Starke County on a warrant.

While in the residence the officers observed several drug related items and contacted the Drug task Force to seek a search warrant.  Just before 4 in the afternoon the officer executed the search warrant.  Fier, 47 year old Clifford Snyder of Plymouth,   39 year old Jamie Joseph of Valparaiso, and 53 Arthur Beam were arrested as a result.

53 year old Kevin Keller and 53 year old Pamela Bobby both of Plymouth also face charges stemming from the search but were not at home at the time the search warrant was executed.  A traffic stop later Thursday evening by a Bremen Police Officer located the pair and they were taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail.

Darlene Fier was booked for Maintaining a Common Nuisance for Legend Drugs and Visiting a Common Nuisance.  She was held on a $1,000 cash bond.

Clifford Snyder was arrested for Maintaining a Common Nuisance and Possession of Methamphetamine and held on a $3,000 cash bond.

Jamie Joseph was booked into the jail for Visiting a Common Nuisance and held on a $1,000 cash bond.

Arthur Beam was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Syringe and Visiting a Common Nuisance and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Kevin Keller of the Plum Street address was arrested in Bremen for Possession of Methamphetamine and held on a $1,500 cash bond and Pamela Bobby was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Operating a Vehicle with a Scheduled Controlled Substance and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

 

Listeners and readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
