marijuana-arrest-handcuffsA call Wednesday evening about 6:35 of a possibly intoxicated person setting in a vehicle at Family Express on South Michigan Street sent Plymouth Officer Krynock to check on the situation.

At 6:44 the officer located the suspect vehicle southbound on Michigan Road and stopped it as it turned east on to 12 Road after seeing several traffic violations.

The driver, 41 year old Olan Q. Howard of Alexander Street in Plymouth was found to be Operating While Intoxicated on a controlled substance.

A green leafy substance smelling of marijuana was located in the vehicle along with glass paraphernalia.

Mr. Howard was transported to the Plymouth Hospital for a chemical test and then lodged in the Marshall County Jail for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia and Operating a Vehicle with a scheduled Controlled Substance.    His cash bond was set at $1,500.
