The Triton School Corporation will be hosting a presentation for parents and their teens about the dangerous side of technology on Wednesday, May 3rd at 7:00 P.M. in the Triton High School auditorium.
Crista Miller, the parent of a teen, will discuss how her daughter was unknowingly lured into dangers like the human sex trade through her seemingly innocent use of technology. She’ll also share her struggles to find her daughter and bring her home.
Superintendent Donna Burroughs said, “This presentation is for all parents so we’ll know what to watch for and how to protect our kids.”
Two police officers who work with this every day will also present during the program. With the changing face of technology, parents need to be more aware of the dangers that face their children. The event is aimed at helping parents be more aware of the dangers that face their children.
