Randy HeadIndiana State Senator Randy Head recently commented on lowering state spending.  He said, “How do we best spend limited taxpayer dollars?” is a question lawmakers face every session. Senator Head continued, “For years, we have done our best to cut state spending in order to save Hoosiers money.”

He then listed some of their accomplishments including: lowering the number of state employees by more than 7,000 since 2004 while keeping the same level of service quality; cutting state debt in half by paying off more than $1.9 billion; and achieving the 10th lowest per-capita state spending in the United States.

“Our accomplishments have made Indiana’s state government more efficient and fiscally conservative than most states in the U.S.” said Randy Head.
