Two supplemental contracts with DLZ for the Hickory Road Bridge replacement project were approved by the County Commissioners this week.
Highway Administrator Laurie Baker told the commissioners the supplemental agreements are for additional work on the right-of-way acquisition and wetlands mitigation for the bridge replacement. She said INDOT has put their stamp of approval on the additional costs and she just needs the commissioners to put their approval on it too.
The total increase to the contract was $33,895.00; $6,405 for the right-of-way and $27,490 for the wetland mitigation.
The Hickory Road Bridge project is scheduled for completion in 2018.
