The Marshall County Health Department and Saint Joseph Health Systems (SJHS) will be hosting an open house and service fair for the community on Tuesday, March 21, from 3 till 6 pm, at the Marshall County Community Resource Center, 510 West Adams Street in Plymouth. Organizations located in the community center will offer information about their services to the public.
The Marshall County Health Department is celebrating its recent move to this location, and will provide tours of the new space. The fair will also feature other services already located in the center including: Saint Joseph Health Center, Saint Joseph Health Insurance Services, Saint Joseph VNA Homecare and Saint Joseph Outreach Services. Other services offered at the Community Resource Center include WIC, Person to Person, Center Township Trustee, Marshall County Division of Family Resources, REAL Services, Cardinal Services, Energy Assistance and Hoosier Driving Academy.
Attendees of the event can learn more about the services available at the Marshall County Community Resource Center including: immunizations, health education and prevention, birth/death records and water testing. SJHS will feature information on its services including primary and routine medical care, patient education, preventive healthcare, home care and health insurance.
Following the open house, the public is invited to attend the Marshall County Board of Health meeting beginning at 6 pm in the Community Room.
