Plymouth Police were involved in a foot chase on Thursday morning. It came to an end when after the suspect swam across the Yellow River.
About 11 a.m. Plymouth’s Assistant Police Chief, Mark Owen initiated a traffic stop at Oakhill Avenue and Rose Road. The suspect, 32 year old Joshua Hansen of Plymouth stopped his vehicle and began running down Rose Street. When he got to the Yellow River he jumped in and swam to the flood plain area at the end of South Plum Street. Officers were able to apprehend him at that time.
Joshua Hansen was booked into the Marshall County Jail for Resisting Law Enforcement.
