Tomorrow, Discover Plymouth will host a community event where their Main Street certificate from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA) will be presented. The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 9th p.m. at Opie’s Deli in downtown Plymouth.
The event is intended to give the community an opportunity to learn more about getting involved with Discover Plymouth as well as discussing upcoming events and initiatives. Guests will enjoy appetizers and more while hearing from Discover Plymouth representatives, Mayor Mark Senter, and representatives from OCRA and the state of Indiana.
Discover Plymouth is a citizen-driven organization working to make Plymouth a destination through economic vitality for our small businesses and a place where families will continue to enjoy spending time creating memories. Discover Plymouth has produced entertainment events and is currently developing economic incentives for small businesses downtown. Discover Plymouth board members are active in other local committees and have an ongoing engagement with a number of community projects, including the restoration of the historical Rees Theater.
