It was a tense situation yesterday afternoon about 3:30 when the County Dispatch Center sent Plymouth Police, Fire and EMS to the southeast corner of Jefferson and Walnut Streets for a vehicle into a building.
The incident occurred when a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado driven by 17 year old Chase Clarkson of Plymouth attempted to cross Jefferson Street, south bound, and pulled into the path of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler drive by 51 year old Barbara Wray of Warsaw who was east bound on Jefferson Street.
Clarkson told Officer Shanna Gilmer he didn’t see the Jeep prior to crossing Jefferson Street. The impact of the collision sent the pick-up truck into the corner of the apartment building at 225 West Jefferson Street.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene and no injuries were reported. No one in the apartment was injured in the incident.
